_{((so yeah if I'd gone with my original plan for Cal he would have turned out to be this douchebag named Dmitri who killed a dude named Calvin and in some mix up ended up with a letter that was supposed to go to this dude. He'dve found Calvin's wife and that's how he would have gotten his memories back. He would've really hated how he was without his memories because that's almost the exact opposite of him.
his stoneyness would be different.
the way stone/other species kids work is they look the other species until their late teens or early twenties. Depending on the kid the genes kick in at different times, always triggered by an injury. The stone heals back where the first injury was sustained and spreads quickly for about a week before slowing to a very gradual progression. In this timeline it would've been a scratch on his cheek.
so yeah iunno if I even wrote everything I wanted to include in this but I am currently dead so I will post it anyway #good ideas.))}
